Dirt has always been significant in Cera's life.  Growing up in Western New York on five acres of old farmland Cera's early encounters with earth and the natural world continue to nourish her work.  After receiving degrees in ceramic design, art education, and masters in fine art, Cera continues to pursue a life of gardening, educating, and making.
